So, I read the book a few months ago, in advance of a screening that was meant to happen outside of Seattle.
Although I really liked the picture the story painted and my heart strings were tugged by the compassionate nature of the lead, I had issues with the plot - namely, why in the hale do Jacob and Marlena actually fall for each other?
It's just sort of assumed of the principle characters take that leap from "hi, nice to meet you" to "let's start a new life together".

We're getting so much closer every day! Yesterday brought an interview with Rob on Ryan Seacrest to promote the movie. Then a tv spot debuted during American Idol last night and the new trailer! That's a lost of wonderfulness for one day!

I cannot wait for this movie! This is one of my favorite books/authors and I cannot wait to see it brought to life. Add to that the fact that it stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook and I'm done for!

Robert Pattinson is featured in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly which features up and coming movies in 2011.Robert has three movies to be released in 2011 including the highly anticipated adaptation of Sara Gruen’s novel, Water for Elephants. Robert headlines the movie together with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.

He is also featured in People Magazine for the same movie.

Unless you have been living on another planet for the past few months you will know that Rob has been filming a small movie called 'Water for Elephants'. The film stars a few extra people like Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, whatever (I don't think those actors are going to go far..)
