Anna Kendrick (aka Jessica Stanley) looked stunning at the premiere of her new film Up in the AirMonday night.   Anna talks with MTV on the red carpet why her new movie Up in the Air would appeal to New Moon fans.

MTV: Why is this a movie that would appeal to your “Twilight” fanbase?

Kendrick: It’s a movie that appeals to everybody. It’s a timeless story. It’s a romance, but it’s also about people who are trying to figure out what they want in their lives. Everybody goes through that. “Twilight” is more of a fairy tale, but this is a story about real people. And everybody likes that.

MTV: As you head into awards season with such buzz, have you prepared any speeches yet?

Kendrick: No. I haven’t even been nominated for anything, so I don’t even need to worry about that.

From what I’ve read, Anna is definitely up for Best Supporting Actress nominations.  Anna, you should get those speeches ready!
