We did it again, Twilighters!!! New Moon nabbed the top spot on the Malaysian box office list for week ending Dec 3-6. New Moon also got the #1 spot in Singapore.
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" tops Singapore weekend box office on opening week (Dec 3-6), maintains peak position in Malaysia for second week, whilst toppling to second spot in North America by Sandra Bullock's "The Blind Side" in its third week of release.
Released in cinemas a month ago, "2012" is still a popular movie amongst moviegoers. According to Box Office Mojo, "New Moon" continued to descend at a steeper rate than the first "Twilight", falling 63 percent to an estimated US$15.7 million over the weekend. However, the vampire romance has long since shot past its predecessor's final tally, grossing an outstanding US$255.6 million in 17 days. The movie even made more than and sold about as many tickets as the "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire".
