John Singleton (“Four Brothers”) is set to direct Taylor Lautner in “Abduction” from Vertigo Entertainment and Lautner’s Tailor Made company.
The story based on an idea by Jeremy Bell, tells of a young man who discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website.
Producing are Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman along with Vertigo’s Roy Lee and Doug Davison and Tailor Made’s Dan Lautner.
Lautner, who skyrocketed to fame thanks to the “Twilight” series of films, can be seen next in “Eclipse,” the third offering in the franchise. The actor was last seen in the romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day.”
Singleton’s other credits include 1995’s “Higher Learning” as well as Samuel L. Jackson starrer “Shaft” in 2000.
