Adam Lambert Sets His Eyes On Eclipse OST
Glam idol Adam Lambert has suggested that a song he penned for his debut album could be a perfect fit for the presumably gloomy Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack.
TheAmerican Idol runner-up revealed that he wrote Suburban Decay for his album but it was not included in the final version of hisFor Your Entertainment LP, which usually means it’s a dud.
“It just didn’t quite fit. It’s very theatrical… It’s very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture,” says Lambert. “It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home, on a soundtrack or something… maybe Twilight.”
“Hey, Eclipse… Want my song? It’s kind of about vampires…. [It has the lyric], ‘With our bloodlust sated, we thrive on suburban decay’.”
