As we all know the Twilight soundtracks are almost as hotly anticipated as the movies. As I blogged yesterday we now know that the soundtrack has a release date of June 8th but the artists on board are still unknown. MTV have tried to dig to the bottom of the mystery revealing some interesting artists who may make the cut.

Adam Lambert - Adam has a song "Suburban Decay"  that didn't make his own album cut and could appear on the soundtrack;

TIME magazine has asked its readers to vote for "People Who Mattered" in 2009 and Rob and Kristen are on the list! They are currently #7, behind people like Barack Obama and Adam Lambert. Vote for Rob and Kris here and see the current standings here.

Glam idol Adam Lambert has suggested that a song he penned for his debut album could be a perfect fit for the presumably gloomy Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack.

In a recent interview with MTV, Adam Lambert was discussing two songs that did not make it onto his debut album. He said he hoped they would find a home elsewhere, maybe a soundtrack, and then made a pitch for one of the songs to be on the 'Eclipse' soundtrack.
