Ashley and Kellan are busy!
When not working on the Twilight sagas our cast are busy bees on other projects. Here is a roundup of some of the casts newest projects:
Ashley Greene - According to 'The Hollywood Reporter' Ashley has signed on the star in 'Butter' alongside Jennifer Garner who will also be producing the movie. The Weinstein Co. film, which begins shooting in Louisiana next week, follows a number of competitive characters in a small Midwestern town as they become entwined in an annual butter-carving contest. Greene will play a high school rebel. Jim Field Smith ("She's Out of My League") will direct. Ashley just finished shooting the thriller "The Apparition."
Kellan Lutz - Per 'Access Hollywood' and 'The Hollwood Reporter' Kellan is staring alongside Mandy Moore, James Brolin and Jane Seymour in the Dermot Mulroney-directed romantic comedy “Love, Wedding, Marriage,” .The film, which marks the directorial debut for Mulroney, follows a newlywed marriage counselor (Moore) who is having a hard time coming to terms with her own parents’ divorce.
Kellan will play Moore’s on-screen husband, while Brolin and Seymour will play her parents.
Kellan's other movie 'War of the Gods' has now been renamed “Immortals". In that movie he will play god of the sea Poseidon, opposite Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto and Henry Cavill. He is also staring in the upcoming “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (which we posted the new trailer for HERE yesterday). Filming on “Love, Wedding, Marriage” begins in August 2010.
