Katie Lou Lou x has written Midnight, a story that takes place after Edward and Bella have returned from Isle Esme. A completely different story then Breaking Dawn, Midnight gives readers a fluffy, fun look at the life the Cullen's could have had, had there been no half-immortal baby in the picture. As Bella and Edward enter the early stages of their marriage, they simply enjoy each other. Their life together is full of love and passion. Bella's ties with the other Cullens begin to grow stronger, as she becomes a true member of their family. As the family prepares to move away from Forks to maintain their human facade, a new set of adventures await them in a new town, starting with an episode that shows readers "protective Edward," which is just fabulously written. At 11 chapters, Midnight is unfinished. At first, I was a little taken aback by the story. While well-written, it seemed to lack something. The drama that constantly trails Bella and the Cullens is noticeably absent. But then I read an author's note at the end of chapter two that brought everything into perspective: "This Fanfic may contain more fluff then plot, but that's how I see Bella and Edward's life together. I think they're(sic) faced enough battles for a lifetime, and so now it is time to have fun." And it's completely true. Don't our beloved Bella and Edward deserve to have a little fun after all that Volturi-werewolf-newborn vampire action? They do; and Katie Lou Lou x provides that for them in her delightful story. Midnight is not serious or drama filled, the plot is not thick; it is fluffy fun and gives readers a story of the love between Edward and Bella that is simple and sweet-just what they deserve.
