Kellan Lutz will be amongst the many celebrities that are going to be honored by PETA at its 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards Ceremony. The event will be held of September 25 at Hollywood’s Palladium.

Other celebrities to be honored are Dave Navarro, Bob Barker, Woody Harrelson, Anjelica Huston and Lea Michelle.

In a separate interview, Kellan also expressed that he doesnt want to be known for his body forever.

“By no means do I want to be a piece of meat for the rest of my career. It’s funny when you get asked to do a talk show, and then they follow it up with requesting you take your shirt off.”

He also hope that he could get his Twilight co-stars to help out in the St. Bernard Project, which aims to build some houses in New Orleans for the victims of Hurrican Katrina.

“I’m hoping to truck down and work with the St. Bernard Project there as well. Hopefully I’ll bring some other cast members too. Although I would have to take video of Rob trying to hammer a nail, he might hurt himself.”
