Here’s an interesting rumour, what if Angelina Jolie’s replacement for Wanted 2 was in fact the petite starlett from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Kristen Stewart? Angelina Jolie had (somehow) been set to reprise her role as the now-deceased assassin, Fox in the sequel to Timur Bekmambetov’s 2008 hit action flick, Wanted. However the vampy actress pulled out earlier this year leaving fans wondering whether a sequel would ever get off of the ground at all.

Now it seems that the project might be set to move forward – with Kristen Stewart taking centre stage in a new role for the film. At this point details are sketchy (so sketchy that I’d tuck this one away in the rumour drawer for now) however it seems that Bekmambetov has been in discussion with “The Runaways” actress. While details are still pretty scarce, Stewart’s character would be a young, ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity.

So is Stewart in, and Angie out?

It’s too early to tell if the film is even gonna happen, but it’s not looking good for A.

Our insider says Kristen was approached to fill Jolie’s hot-woman void in the franchise and met at least once with Timur Bekmambetov, the director of the series.
