It seems that Robert Pattinson has vampire in his blood after all. In an article by the Associated Press, Robert Pattinson apparently has family ties with Vlad the Impaler. According Ancestry.com, Robert Pattinson is connected to the Transylvanian leader though the British Royal Family.

Vlad III Dracula is a distant uncle of Britain’s Prince William and Harry, who are distant cousins of Rob.

“Tracing Pattinson’s family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the Twilight Saga,” said Anastasia Tyler, a genealogist at Ancestry.com. “Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson’s life — making his story just as supernatural as the one he’s playing on screen.”
