Instead of posting a teaser for the chapter we'll be discussing this week, I'm featuring one of my favorite pieces of fan fiction. I certainly love the stories that create a different world for Bella and Edward, like Some Life In Me, currently being written by our own Kerry. (I highly recommend you check this one out.) My favorites though are the stories that fill in the blanks. The ones that give us a scene we missed in the original books because they were all from Bella's (or Jacob's) point of view.

Tonight was the Hope for Haiti telethon and it was an incredibly moving and beautiful two hours. The stories were heartbreaking and inspiring. The Haitian people are so full of life and faith, I was truly amazed.

Of course, we were proud to be Rob fans tonight. He looked wonderful and did a great job.

Twilight fans have gotten used to the movie sweeping awards shows, but it didn't happen last night. Honestly, I'm kind of glad that they didn't walk away with every award up there. They were up against some hugely established actors and actresses and I'd hate to have to listen to the choruses of "They only won because the little teeny bopper fans had nothing better to do than vote constantly." Here are the nominations along with the winners.
