Fresh from her multi-nominated role in Up in the Air, actress Anna Kendrick has joined Scottish actor James McAvoy in an untitled movie project.

According to Variety, the untitled Mandate dramedy formerly known as “I’m With Cancer” will also star Seth Rogen and will chronicle the life of Adam (played by McAvoy), a 25-year-old man who learns that he has cancer and was able to successfully battle the disease for years. Anna will play a young psychologist assigned to handle Adam’s case despite her lack of experience.

Production will start in Vancouver next month and will be directed by Jonathan Levine.
