In several interviews before, Robert Pattinson has admitted that he was glad that he was not in the long haul for the Harry Potter movies, or else he would go crazy. According to Rob, he wouldn’t know how to handle the fame that entails the Potter franchise and for that, he has admired its young cast most especially the three leads in keeping their heads sane. He has also mentioned that he would seek advice from Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe on how to handle the fans and fame.

During the launch event for the new Harry Potter DVD (HBP), Daniel Radcliffe has mentioned that Robert need no advice in handling fame. According to Dan, Rob is handling his fame quite alright and has been dealing its pressures well.

“I wouldn’t have any advice,” Radcliffe told the BBC. “He seems to be coping well,” added the actor.

“I haven’t spoken to Robert since we saw each other at the opening of a gallery three years ago,” said Radcliffe. “We’ve been sort of exchanging advice through journalists, bizarrely.”

But Dan definitely understands what Robert is going through.

“It is totally mad, when people are screaming and going absolutely insane for you.”

“Particularly with Robert – the amount of women that would jump on him – you have to keep it in some kind of perspective, by thinking ‘well, partly they like me and partly they are just attracted to the character’.

“As long as you don’t think ‘oh yeah, God they’re all doing this – I must be absolutely fantastic’. As long as you do that, you should be all right.”

Another Potter co-star Rupert Grint agrees with Dan. According to Rupert, Rob has done “amazingly well” after Potter. And just like Rob, Rupert isnt particular to fame.
