According to Ted Casablanca of E! News, Kristen Stewart was approached by the studio and the director who made and released 2008’s Wanted to follow in Angelina Jolie’s footsteps as the female lead, starring alongside James McAvoy.

Though details are still sketchy and that the deal is not about to made anytime soon, studio heads are planning to put Kristen into the lead should Angelina would finally decide that she would not be coming back.

Kristen’s character would be a young, ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity. Kristen is set to start filming Breaking Dawn possibly in October and if she does accept the role for Wanted, she may start shooting it around the end of August – the original date for shooting.

However, plans for the movie are still in the backburner. The lead male, James McAvoy is taking a hiatus, awaiting the birth of his first child. So consider this as a rumor for now.
