At the red carpet he was interviewed by MTV where he talked about Kristen Stewart’s transformation into a vampire.

“She’s doing really well. She looks fantastic,” he raved about Stewart’s transition to a vampire for the final films in the series. “For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque.”

“We’ve been shooting the last two weeks with a lot of vampires,” he said. “I don’t want to give away too much, but if you’ve read the books, it’s the standoff with lots of vampires in play. There’s like 70 people going through the works at once. It’s a little maddening, but fun.

“We shot pretty much the ending of the two movies the other day,” he added about how much time the cast has left on-set. “But we shoot until mid-April.”
