Robert Pattinson is a very talented actor, we all know that. But what most fans don’t know is that he is also a very gifted musician. Pattinson, 23, who had two songs featured on the ‘Twilight’ soundtrack also plays the piano, guitar, and sings. So will the hunky Brit take a break from his film career to focus more on his music? Ok! Magazine reports when asked if he himself would release the songs from the ‘Twilight’ soundtrack he said; “I’m not particularly interested in releasing it.”
Pattinson, who told Paramore lead singer, Hayley on a Myspace artist on artist interview that before he got the role of Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’ he was actually considering leaving acting and pursuing his music further. Robert who would occasionally do an open mic night here and there has since stopped because of the mass of fans who know where he is at all times. A fan who caught him at an open mic night recorded his performance and posted it on youtube, which is not what Pattinson wanted at all. Though Rob says he would do a secret performance if he could get away with it, saying; “I’d like to do some gigs. I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out.”
But for now the Robert Pattinson, 23, will continue his film career. He has three films due to be released with in a year. ‘The Twilight Saga, Eclipse’ which he just wrapped filming on this week is scheduled for release in the summer of 2010, ‘Remember Me’ which will be released in February, and the upcoming ‘New Moon’ which hits theaters on November 20th.
