In a feature interview with Vanity Fair Italia, Elisabetta Canalis (George Clooney’s girlfriend) compared the envy that she get from dating one of the world’s most eligible bachelors to the media frenzy surrounding Robert and Kristen.

-Does the envy scare you?-

“Sometimes yes. Look at Robert Pattinson from Twilight. He publicly condemned the libellous blog phenomenon. He’s the idol of teenagers and when everybody understood that he’s in a relationship with Kristen Stewart, she even got death threats. Pattinson defended her. She won the boy everybody wants: does she really deserve to be threatened?”
