Bless his generous soul. Rob Pattinson agreed to help out with the Hope for Haititelethon, aimed at raising funds for the devastated country.

There were rumors last week that Robert Pattinson was high on the priority list of celebrities that are being tapped to helped out in the upcoming Haitian Recovery telethon organized and spearheaded by George Clooney.

The Twilight cast are always up for helping a charity or two, and now Rob is on board to help raise money for the stricken population of Haiti. Marc Malkin fills us in -

As rescue and recovery efforts continue in Haiti, more and more humanitarian aid is getting organized to assist the Haitian people in coping with this devestating tragedy. In case you've been living under a rock, Haiti was hit by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake last week.
