Yesterday, Director David Slade answered to these rumors through his Twitter account. The Eclipse director assured that everything is fine in the Twilight front and that rumors will be rumors.

There has been rumors that the first Eclipse trailer will debut this weekend during the previews and showings of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. This however is false.
