The Wrap has released their interview with Eclipse director David Slade where he talked about getting on-board the Twilight Saga as well as his takes on Edward, Bella, Jacob, the whole series and the fans. Here is an excerpt of their interview:

Moviefone has released their interview with director David Slade which was done during the Twilight Night last June 26. Watch Mr. Slade explain Bella’s evolution in the third movie, the theme in the movie and how he adapted the third book to the screen.

In another snippet of his interview with MTV, director David Slade talked about a few scenes from Eclipse that was left on the cutting room floor. He particularly singled a scene between Bella and Angela where the two girls were acting like any other teens their age. According to David, the scene was so lovely but it wasnt just cut for the pace of the film.

During the Eclipse premiere, author Stephenie Meyer shared her opinion on how Eclipse is and what she thinks about the tent scene. In a separate interview, director David Slade talked about the tent scene reshoot.
