Well, I'd say it's official, the Twi-zealotry is finally winding down. If it took me about a week to watch the entire DVD so I could review it, things are definitely slowing down in the Twilight Universe (at least for me, I guess).
Clearly, Halloween is the perfect time of year to celebrate our common obsession with all things Twilight. The stuff that's out there might vary from elaborate costume parties to simple makeup tips! Naturally, first of all I went to my favorite creative source - Etsy and this is what some of my favorite sellers had to offer:
Aren't they adorable in their fake zeal? Oh, the things you do for self-promotion...
I highly doubt anybody noticed my absence in the blogosphere this past week, but I was visiting land of milk and honey Disney and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, aka as home of the new Harry Potter Wizarding World. What can I say?
The haters, the jokers, the mockers and the teasers... this post is for you!
In lieu of recent violence in Brazil, which was considered as one of possible shooting locations for part of the Breaking Dawn, I have been thinking of the actual/imaginary palace from BD - Isle Esme. As we all know, it's an fictional island near Rio de Janeiro, owned by Cullen family which was a present from Carlisle to Esme.
Yet another confession. I have not read Wuthering Heights. My high school's reading program was slightly different from the one in Forks, WA. So, even though the darn novel was mentioned probably a hundred times in Twilight, I still haven't until now ventured to brave the stormy waters of this classic piece of English literature.
Nope, I don't speak French, unfortunately... And when I first read Bel Ami, it had a totally different name on the cover, I can almost see it right now-thin black Cyrillic letters - Милый Друг. That's right, I read it in Russian, back then, and again, about a month ago. Little did I know how things will lead me to it again. Romantic teenager (Bel Ami) ->romantic adult -> Twilight -> RPattz -> Bel Ami. See? I've made a full circle :) But enough personal history, let's set up the mood and get back to the source. (turn on some french music below, if you please).
