Yesterday, a good portion of the music industry gathered in Beverly Hills, CA for the Billboard Film and TV Music Festival. The purpose of the gathering was to gain information for careers and the future of music supervision in television and film.

The official New Moon soundtrack website says the the soundtrack will be released in Malaysia today, 20th October 2009!!

Summit Entertainment sent out the following, exciting information about the iTunes pre-order for the 'New Moon' soundtrack:

The iTunes preorder (http://j.mp/2Vi5tx) for The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack launched today with 4 exclusive bonus songs, including an original song from Lupe Fiasco entitled ‘Solar Midnite.’ As with all the songs on the soundtrack, these bonus songs will be heard in the The Twilight Saga: New Moon movie and are previously unreleased.

MySpace has revealed the official tracklisting of the 'New Moon' soundtrack, which is going to be released October 20th. If you pre-ordered the soundtrack, you may have recieved an email containing the tracklisting.
