With Twilight becoming a global phenomenon, the names of Edward Cullen, Isabella Swan and Jacob Black became household names. Women around the world have devoted so much time and effort into these characters thus it may not come as a surprise if they name their babies after these characters.
Buffy Alumnus Emma Caulfield was interviewed recently by The Dish Rag where she talked about her love for sci-fi, the vampire genre and her favorite television shows. As she has been part of the Buffy phenomenon, she talked about the success of the current vampire wave lead by Twilight.
